I started in the RE business flipping homes and buying and holding. Got burned bad on a deal and paid for it dearly. Since then I have made a point to fully understand every aspect of the deal with a solid exit strategy going into the deal. Currently, I buy and sell large pools of properties. Enjoy that side of the business. I strive to learn new aspects of the business on a daily basis.
