I'm a new real estate investor with 2 duplex properties that I manage, both cash flowing well. I have rehabbed properties in the past which I found to be a valuable learning experience.
I currently work in the sign industry as a designer and I look forward to matching my passive income with my J.O.B. income and make the transition into full time real estate investing.
I have been a part-time investor since late 2004. I have purchased 4 properties using some type of creative financing. I'm experienced in basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry, as I've had to rehab all of my properties on a limited budget. So far, I have read many R/E books, attended seminars and bootcamps and joined my local REI club. Now that I'm taking my real estate path seriously, I have specific goals that I would like to accomplish.
I want to continue my education by actually doing larger deals. My goal is to:
Own a 10+ unit apartment building by 2012.
Purchase a larger (20+) multi-unit apartment building by 2013.
Expand holdings to include a self storage facility or medical/office building 2015.
My long term goal is to hold a NNN lease property of a national chain tenant.
Education and funding.
A mentor or mentor group.
Gods guidance.
