In my own words...

I'm a 3rd generation real estate investor (we were investors before investing was cool). I have bird dogged and wholesaled a little but I specialize in single family rental properties in Indiana. I began first strictly as a landlord and built a nice portfolio over the years and have recently decided to do some flipping of investment property. I personally want to show people that it is possible to to hold rental property at very well performing numbers.

Real Estate Experience

Professionally I'm an independent residential and commercial property adjuster. I've handled insurance claims from small $500 residential claims to $700k commercial claims for structures such as the Hancock Building and The Tides in Chicago.

As far as real estate, I started at 19 as an onsite property manager and did that for 5 years. Bought my first multi-unit at 26 in Chicago. Lost everything in the big D (all cash, credit, equity - everything) and restarted almost 3 years ago. Left Chicago because it didn't have the cashflow I wanted. I had $500 in my pocket and moved to doing sfh's and multi-units in Indiana for the superb cashflow and haven't looked back. I have now quintupled my pre-divorce wealth and have excellent cashflow.

Real Estate Goals

1. $30,000 income per month in my portfolio by 2012.
2. Lifetime goal of exceeding $100,000 per month net income.
3. Get to the point of comfortably donating $5,000 a month to Frank McKinney's Caring House project, and then exploring creating my own charity.
