We are new to real estate investing and honestly still in the learning phase. We are eager to learn enough to get started. Both of us have experience in many phases of construction so we are hoping to build enough equity by bird dogging and assigning contracts to be able buy and sell some fix-er-uppers ourselves.

Please feel free to offer any advice since we'd rather listen to wisdom with hopes of avoiding pitfalls and mistakes.

Experience

Tina just passed her real estate license test in CA. She is in the process of sending in for my license. She expects to hang my license with an office in Granite Bay CA.

Real Estate Goals

We would like to find investors who we can begin bird dogging for as well as doing some fixer upper work.

With Tina's real estate license we will be active in the community while she is helping clients buy and sell . We hope this will help us be able to constantly be on the cutting edge of finding good deals.

We are in the process of completing a mentoring program in real estate investing. We were advised to join investing clubs to learn...Does anyone know of any clubs to join in the El Dorado County area of CA? Does anyone have any tips or advice for newbies in CA?
