I'm a real estate investor and bought my first property at 22
Eventually I'd like to do it full-time. I have a team waiting in the wings for me. But right now I'm a Landlord, just learning and doing more and more research as I go.
I always keep my eye open for a great opportunity and I never give up.
My other job is a full-time Graphic Designer/Advertising Coordinator so hopefully when I start my Investment Company, I'll take care of all the advertising as well.
My first purchase was a condo that I 'cleaned' up a bit. Sat on for a year and sold for a $10,000 profit.
My second one (currently own) is a 2 family. 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs. I rent the units for $850 and $875. With a cash flow of $168.00 a month. I've done a ton of work to the place and in 2 years have gained $40,000 worth in equity. I'll be holding on to the property for a bit longer.
Right now I'm looking at a 3 family.
My goal is to live completely on buying and selling Real Estate. I've taken my first leap...but I'm taking it slow.
