Short Sale Artisan
New York, New York
I am a beginner RE investor. I have educated myself via various classes, home study courses, seminars and the internet over the last 5+ years. My goal for 2011 is 3 deals but I know that ALL I REALLY NEED IS TO DO ONE DEAL !!!
Everything else will flow from there. I hope to find mentors, advice, support and partners by networking on this site.
I'm a very detailed and action-oriented. I have excellent analytical skills and have always been very savvy my personal money management. I also have a FT engineering job at a large global security company.
Educating myself since 2006 in the art of real estate investing. Analysis Paralysis has prevented me from taking action in the past. Now attending local REIAs and started the business. I will make my first deal in 2011 !
Purchased (1) condo in December 2007 in Bushwick section of Brooklyn,NY for primary residence, now renting it out.
My long term goals are to buy/hold commercial cash flowing properties. Specifically interested in apartments or mixed use (apts on top of commercial). Short term I am interested in both the buy/hold and buy/flip strategies in order to build up reserves that will facilitate my ability to borrow funds as well as overcome murphy in any of the properties I hold.
Seeking first deal. Willing to go outside of strategy for first deal in order to build up reserves prior going for cash flow. Open to short sale (flip), note buying (flip or hold), tax leins/deeds (flip or hold) and small apartment buildings.

Hey Tommy, I live in Harlem (NYC) so I am looking into the 5 boroughs, but also willing to venture out to Philly, NJ, CT, Long Island and Upstate NY. At least until I make my first deal I have not really locked myself into one neighborhood/town. 08:28AM on September 02, 2010 · Francisco Tejada |

Hey Francisco! Thanks for the add. It looks like we share a similar strategy and goals here for real estate as I too am looking into a combination of buy/hold and flip properties. What areas are you primarily focused on? 05:22AM on August 30, 2010 · Tommy Giannopoulos |
