I saved my first About below. Hopefully in a few years I'll look back impressed. I'm now 28 and engaged. I've learned a lot about real estate in the last year, partially because I'm a Realtor now but mostly because I found a few great mentors. I finally closed my first deal and I think it was a great one!!! I think this will be the backbone of a quickly growing portfolio.

"Hi Everyone! I'm a 27 year old structural engineer. I started looking at housing in January 2008 while me and my boyfriend were shopping for our first house. I've seen the prices fall and I think there are lots of great deals around now. I am also interested in eventually aquiring commercial real estate but I'm not sure what to do about that yet. I dream of aquiring enough assets to give myself the freedom to travel and have a flexible life. I'm a beginner but am good with numbers and can understand complex ideas. I've started reading rei books, I'm taking my real estate sales licensing class, and I welcome any and all feedback you can provide. Thanks in advance!"
