I am an accountant by trade with above average DIY skills. I would like to harness that knowledge to begin rehabbing houses. From there I can branch out into other areas of investing.

I am a newbie to the REI world. I have joined a local group of investors, but am constantly looking for reliable sources of information. It is difficult weeding out the people who just want to sell me something.
Real Estate Goals
I am wanting to build a real estate business that will allow me to not worry about retirement. I would like phase myself out of a 8-5 job within 5 years.
