James, I think D.C. Fawcetts office for his education arena is a mess. It took me half a dozen emails to get a passcode that would work. He is however not a scammer. Although if you are a newbie I would tell you to send his agent referral letter out to a few RE agents first. If you can get an agent to work with you, you can go forward with DC. I only signed on to DC's $100 a month VSSI website, this was a good deal, as you will learn quite a bit and he will allow you do down load all of his letters and forms. I dropped out of DC's class, so to speak because I am a buy and hold land lord. Yes I actually like being a land lord. I have done short sales, but I am always the buyer. In my area the values have not plummeted on million dollar homes, and I don't have the time to do a short sale in another state. The system is supposed to be virtual, and I believe it could be, but I just don't have the time. Quite a few 99% of these get rich guru's are just a bit fraudulent, yes they made millions in RE but most just before the bubble burst. The tried and true way to get rich in real estate is the way I am doing it. Keep your day job, buy a couple of properties a year, rent them out, each year your cashflow will increase, your properties will be paid off by the tenants The tax advantage of owning properties will eventualy reduce your Federal taxes to zero. And every couple of years you can pull out a 10-50k tax free with a refi. I figure if I go on the way I am today, buying a few properties each year, I will have about $100k in cash flow a year. Now I don't know about you, but I don't need to be a real estate millionaire $100k made while I sleep is just ok with me.
