First off, I am new to the whole real estate scene. I have always been interested, yet never took the plunge. I am finally at a point in my life in which I believe I am ready. I do have background in construction, along with a business background. I am currently working in the chemical industry. I enjoy my job, but would love to be able to be at home more often with my wife (prego) and kid (s). I look forward to meeting/networking other individuals in the same boat as I, and hopefully a mentor or two. Thanks in advance for any and every one of you that help me along my journey to fulfilling my dreams!

Experience

Zero as of today. I am hoping to change that in the very, very near future!

Real Estate Goals

Short term goals would consist of buying, fixing, and selling a property or two a month. Hopefully after a period of 12 months I can re-evaluate my situation and increase my productibility.
Long term goals would be establish a decent monthly cash flow with rental units, preferably multi-family/apartment type properties. Along the way I would love to be able to share my success with family and friends...helping them to create a better life.

Currently Seeking

Well, as I am sure everyone has experienced, the first deal is HARD to committ to! I have become very paranoid with making a huge mistake...and potentially losing my tail. I do have a partner(which helps calm the nerves a bit) but it is still scary! At this time we are looking for something in the $25k-$40k range...something close to work(South Houston)...and hopefully not in too bad of shape...I do enjoy rehab type work, I just have my worries about elect., plumbing, and foundation probs. There is not too much I personally cant tackle, and I guess I will have to learn as everyone else did. It is times like these that I miss my father the most....that man could do anything!!!!
