I am experienced investor that got side tracked for several years. I am now back in the game. All of the "Sub-Prime" issues aside, this is the greatest opportunity to make huge amounts of money in decades. My partners and I are focusing on REOs and Short Sales that we can lease option until the market conditions improve. There are great bargains if you know where to look and who to talk to.
I have been a part time real estate investor since 1986 closing 3 deals personally using none of my own money.
I've been full time mortgage broker since December, 2007 I am working with a partner locating and acquiring pre-foreclosures and REOs. We can do total rehabs if needed. WE are looking for private or hard money financing to increase our business.
Current goals are to buy 3-5 REOs per month, more if we can get the financing. By the end of 2010 we want to have no less than 20 rentals (We want to ride the appreciation for a couple of years), while still acquiring REOs.
Later we want to get into commercial real estate investing. Buying multifamily, retail centers, office buildings, hotels, etc.
I want to invest in real estate notes for my IRA. I am not getting any younger, I want to travel while I am still able to.
