Matt Gade, co-founder of Residential Revolution LLC, is one of Connecticut’s premier young real estate investors. Born and raised in Wallingford, CT, he attended the University of Connecticut where he obtained both his Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in Sports Management while working for six years under Hall of Fame coach Geno Auriemma and his historic women’s basketball program. Destined for a career in athletics, Matt decided to change his life path and pursue his dream of starting his own business and being in control his time & future. Thanks largely to HGTV and all of the other “house flipping” shows on television, Matt started to research the real estate industry and partnered with a friend to start Residential Revolution LLC – a company that purchases depressed, ugly homes and sells them quickly after renovating & improving the property.
In addition to working on his business, he is a strong believer in the power of networking & building strong relationships, developing a healthy body & mind, and traveling the world to experience as much culture as possible. Matt Gade is also fluent in the language of sarcasm & known not to take life too seriously but to take a step back, breath, and truly enjoy it. Described as a goal-oriented, focused, family man, Matt lives day to day keeping in mind this important thought: never forget where you came from, where you are going, and who you are doing it all for.
Jumped into rehabbing properties right after completing college in May 2011. Got my real estate license months later to help my investment business by making it easier to access properties, find listings on the MLS, and save half the commission.
Finish our first year of rehabbing properties in the double digits.
