My name is Mike and I am an aspiring real estate investor. I am currently reading "Investing in Real Estate by McLean & Eldred 5th Edition". I have a beautiful wife and a child on the way. I also read books such as The Master Key System, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think & Grow Rich. My goal is to be a successful real estate investor. I am looking forward to networking and meet new friends in biggerpockets.com. Right now I consider myself an apprentice and hopefully can find mentors that can help me out. I am soon to become a member of Broward Real Estate Investors Association. I currently do not own property. A duplex is what I have in mind for a first investment property but if anyone else has a better idea please let me know. Anything else you would like to know please ask. Experience

I am a beginner in the real estate world. I do have my Florida state mortgage broker's license but I do not have any experience in the field. Just trying to learn as much as I can.

Real Estate Goals

I want to replace my monthly income of $3,000.00 per month working 40+ hours per week with a real estate passive income of $5,000.00 per month working 15 hours per week.

Own a minimum of 10 properties.

Passive Income: $5,000.00 / month

Net worth: $ 125,000.00

I believe this is a realistic approach as a beginner in real estate investing. As soon as I reach those goals I will replace it with a higher level.
