18 years experience rehabbing properties as a contractor and project manager. I studied Electrical Engineering at Columbia University in New York. Upon returning to Maryland, I entered the construction industry, learning the building trades (rough and finished carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical). I merged all of my experience to form a construction management company and now real estate investment enterprise, maximizing the potential of my knowledge and ability.

Experience

The president of a non-profit and a for-profit development company hired me as a project manager in 1993 and became my mentor. I learned all the ins and outs of real estate development, including: proposal writing, cost estimation, market research, project management, maintaining accounting records, and operations management. Over the last 18 years, I have gained thorough knowledge of residential and commercial construction and renovations from proposal through completion. I am a bottom-line person who functions with integrity and focus. I have helped many investors make a lot of money over the years by keeping rehab costs low and time frames as short as possible. I started my real estate investment company 2 years ago to focus on investing full-time and put my contractor experience to work for my own real estate deals.

Real Estate Goals

I am interested in purchasing REO and distressed properties for rehab and resale. I would also like to purchase an apartment building for cash flow.

Currently Seeking

I am seeking a reliable hard money/private lender for funding to take advantage of distressed properties in the Baltimore Metro area. I am thoroughly familiar with this market and am focused on getting deals done, competing projects efficiently, and maximizing profit.
