I am a new investor in the US real estate market and am currently working on my business plan. I have invested in residential and commercial real estate in emerging markets outside of the US (India) w the primary objective of capital appreciation. I am an architect by background and finished my masters in real estate from Columbia University - NY in 2002 following which I worked in commercial capital market transactions with Ernst & Young for 4 years.
I am currently interested in investing in multi family investments as a long term strategy. In the short term wholesaling, short sales and flip opportunities are of interest to me.

New investor in the US market. Investing experience in emerging markets outside the US. Have a MS in Real Estate Development from Columbai University and working towards a CCIM certification. Worked w Ernst & Young's capital markets team focussing on large portfolio rationalization deals of multi-tenanted commercial office and medical office asset types.

Real Estate Goals

Long term real estate goals in the US are primarily based on the buy and hold strategy in the multi tenant apartment segment. Short term goals/ interests include wholesaling, short sales, fix and flip to raise capital for long term strategy.
