I grew up in the Milwaukee area (Waukesha) and am currently living in Eau Claire, WI. I have been intrigued with REI since paying rent as a student at UW-Madison.

I fell into the business when my wife and I decided to move to Eau Claire. We couldn't sell our house in Milwaukee for enough to cover our mortgage balance, so we rented the house out to friends. I am now looking to start investing for real.

Experience

I am a total newbie. I have been renting out my old house to cover the mortgage payments until I am able to sell.

Real Estate Goals

I would like to stop working for a salary and start working for profits. I see REI as a fun and interesting way to achieve that.

I would like to start with my first deal. After I get that under my belt, I would like to start acquiring cash flowing property for long term holding.

Eventually I would like to hold over $1 million in Real Estate free and clear.
