My website sorta says it all, but to paraphrase my 31 years on this planet...I like real estate. So much that I became a Broker, started my own realty company (and hard money division), and also plan to get back into investing after having first failed with out of state properties in NY and MO. Certainly came away with some stories to tell and some great war wounds though. Cause if it didn't kill ya...
Poor choices mostly. Duplexes in Syracuse, NY. SFRs in St Louis MO. And some even more dilapidated hell holes in the dreaded Inland Empire just outside Los Angeles. But that just encompasses my investing experience. My real estate experience? I may still be young, but I understand what investors, retail buyers, hard/private money seekers really need. And I know more about government regulation, short sales, REOs, probate, auctions, and every other type of investment sale than I ever thought possible.
To build a dual sided company as an investor friendly broker and private money direct lender. And of course get back into investing as a fixer/flipper. Don't think I ever want to actually own again.
Knowledge. That's what I'm seeking. First, even more education for the already educated man. The rest will just follow, always does.

here's one idea how to prepare...make sure your title company will actually insure it.
