I am the lead human factors researcher at the Center for the Built Environment at UC Berkeley where I study how to create buildings that save energy and are healthy for people. To date, I have studied over 300 buildings on five continents and frequently present and publish my results to an international audience.
I am also the owner of The Folks Collective, a developer of housing in the San Franciso Bay Area, and serve on the board of Our House, a transitional housing not for profit. I am a LEED accredited professional, possess a Master of Science in architecture from UC Berkeley, a graduate certificate in real estate development from USC and have over 10 years of industry experience.
