What Wal-Mart's "Disaster" Means to You

 Wal-Mart recently announced that they are off to the worst start in seven years. That means since 2006- and our economy has taken some pretty hard hits since then. Here's the article:

This is a red flag for our economy, and here's why. Wal-Mart is the world's largest retailer. Stop and think a minute about what kind of retailer Wal-Mart is and who their primary customers are. Most people who shop at Wal-Mart are middle-to-low income earners who are shopping for goods at discounted prices. When the economy gets to the point where people are not buying at Wal-Mart, that's a bad sign.

This is simply another indication that our economy is under attack and it's carrying a heavy burden. As long as this continues, the real estate market will continue to suffer. This will continue to present opportunities for real estate investors to purchase properties as deep discounts.
