1st Wednesday Street Party
August 5, 2015, 6:00PM-9:00PM
It’s the Dog Days of Summer once again in downtown Pleasanton as residents of luxury homes in Pleasanton CA and nearby areas come with their dogs, big & small to participate in the Pooch Parade down Main Street! Fast Times will provide the live music for the street party. You can also shop, stroll and dine in one of the many food vendor booths that will be set up in the Middle of Main Street during the event. While you’re there, you could also check out ArtBlock, a live music and art experience happening on W. Angela St. During the street party event, Main Street will be closed from 4:30pm to 10pm from Del Valle Parkway to Bernal Ave.
Tommy and the 4 Speeds Concert In The Park
August 7, 2015, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Local favorites Tommy and the 4 Speeds, Max Cruise and Magic Moments return for Concert in the Park series, which happens every Friday night from June 5th through August 28. An eclectic mix of music from rock to blues, 50s and 60s, Latin rock & soul will entertain guests from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Lions Wayside Park. Before heading on to the Concert in the Park, make sure to pick up some dinner to go from one of downtown Pleasanton’s great restaurants. You can bring it with you to the park. You can also bring your own picnic blankets and chairs on the morning of the concert.
