Automated Systems - Are they worth it?

Thursday, November 19

Hello All!  So I listened to this Webenar tonight.  It was pretty interesting.  They called it "done -for-you-deals".  Basically they were selling the system. It sounds good..What do you guys think? Has anyone ever heard of it?

The cost was $997 plus $99 monthly.  What do you get?

71+ piece marketing system

Monthly online newsletter

REI Virtual office

up to 15 profesional email accounts

Direct Marketing Response widget  (not sure what this means lol!)

4 free online vedeos to capture leads

and so much more...They claim to offer not just a website but web presence.  They say it adds to credibility and they offer CRM that keeps tract of leads.  There is also a way to post your properties.....It seems to be complete.

I wonder if it's the only one of it's kind ....will something like this really make a difference between sucess and failure?

Listen and learn. That is all to do at those seminars. What you find that is good apply to your business. The difference between success and failure is always you and your attitude.

I would look around for something similar. You should be able to find something that does the same thing that does not cost $997 to start using the product. If they give you a simple website that they copy everyday for each new customer it might not be worth it.

I am not against outsourcing, but you really need to know how to perform every action that you are outsourcing. I bet that when you learn how each step in the above list is performed, you will find a better and cheaper (not always only refering to money) way.

Way too expensive. $997 + $97 a month, your kidding right?. That buys a whole bunch if you want to outsource to sites as odesk.com, elance.com and guru.com

As intriguing as it sounds, I also agree with James.

You will have much better long term success if you lay in your own marketing foundation. I am sure that what they offer is good. However there is something about going through the trenches personally, and knowing through actual experience how things work, why they work, and the pros/cons of each strategy.

I think once you have a marketing plan that has your own style, and brand.. then you can look into to automation products that they offer.

But for now, think of what they offer and do it yourself. Use the shopping cart method. Take what you want, leave what you dont want.

Ditto Matt. IMO - Until you learn how to do all of the functions that you will need to do for yourself, you'll never find success. You must understand the basics before you outsource it to some company, assistant or turnkey program.

Are you there yet? Do you have those basics down cold? Are you actively doing deals? If so, then I'd say you can certainly shop for products that help simplify your processes. Otherwise, get reading, and get that business plan together.

    I hope that helps.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are the best! Thank you so much for the feedback! I agree that before I buy something to manage my business...I should have business to manage. lol!

I am working on a business plan. The first task is to eliminate the excuses I have been holding on to and just .... DO IT!

    Till next time! Happy Investing!!!!

look on youtube for Lawence Tam and look at his video. You can apply this to a real estate web site and have captured leads and make money having books sold to your leads. About $70 per month. This is can be applied to real estate and has already. so do not feel you need to join the other groups they discuss.
