Should I get an efax account. Or just a regular fax machine? Or both? Could you reccomend an online fax site?

I just use a regular fax machine (actually a multi-function machine - copier, fax, wireless printer). Sometimes, simpler is better.

When using efax. If you recieve a fax from someone that needs your signature how do you handle that? You would still need a regular fax, I'm guessing. Like the idea of being able to recieve a fax at anytime. If I'm in the "office" or on the road.

I use ringcentral.com for my e-fax, they also do my 800 number.
You wil also need a scanner.
Thanks alot guys. Sounds like all-in-one will be my best bet. Maybe efax later when business picks up.
GotVMail.com is another good resource.

I use a combination fax / copier, etc. I used to use an efax service, but I agree with the others who said that having to scan documents before faxing them was a pain.
That said, if you send lots of faxes, an efax service may work out cheaper.
I use reingentral for my phones, 800 number, but didn't know they did efaxes too. Thanks, Jason. Currently I have an all in one that is also a scanner. I just feed the document in as if I were faxing it and it saves it as a PDF file so I can attach it to an email.
I use ureach.com. They have a unified messaging service which includes a toll free number forwarded to any phone, you can control the schedule and if you want the caller to announce themselves before you accept the call.
They also have the efax function where electronic files can be faxed, plus your email messages can be "read" to you over the phone.
Been an efax customer for 3 years and have a standard fax all-in-1 machine as well.
Best thing on efax: all faxes come as emails. Read/delete/saveasPDF/emailto anyone... all without printing out the fax.
I work 3-5 contracts a month with numerous changes and versions of the same contract. The efax allows me to view a version and save the printing. Basically, SAVE A TREE. Trying to be a little greener in these '$4/gal. gas' days.
Love efax...makes things run fast....but I still fax out via the old stand-by. That is why I keep the machine. (plus my 73 yr old father is my partner and he likes the old ways....simplier for him.)
Hope this helps.
