Here are some books that I found very useful.
All Americas real estate book- Its old, but it has a nice perspective.
Real Estate Riches - Dolf deRoos. Not teh most informative, but it is a great motivator.
Robert Allen books such as nothing down.
Flipping properties by Bronchik.
Go to ebay and search learnhowtoberich, the seller. Buy his audios!!!!!! Best ever.
I recently bought Real Estate Finance and Investment Manual. Its very nice because it is technical. So many books are just motivation and no meat. This one also has good tips for dealing with people you will meet.
If I had 200k to invest, I would save half in a savings account for when it is needed, and the other half on marketing. It all starts with motivated sellers and you cant get those without marketing!
Umm with 100k, ou could do everything! You could have a flier on the door and a letter in the mail of every house in my town!
Hey, I have a bunch of books in pdf form if you want them. Financing by bronchick, some stuff on marketing, trumps book.....
Tony - I'd like to see what you've got as well. Always looking to read some new stuff (if I haven't seen it already).
