Hi All,

I want to get my Realtor's License but I am here to ask my fellow bp members what is the best way to go about it...? I have noticed there is a lot of online courses from many different sources as well as other ways.. and well, I am a bit overwhelmed about which is the best route to take. Can anyone recommend a good course or website? Anyone who has been down this road, your words of wisdom are much appreciated!!

Your going to gain alot more from attending a class.

When I took my RE licence class 40 hrs were required I did it 9-5 in one week.

I had a great instructor & he offered CD's of the course I listened to them non-stop for the entire month & picked up the practice tests took them over & over untill I did not miss a question.

Past the first time (it was a breeze).

I still know the suff inside & out basically all you really need is ethics.

I recommend you find someone in your area offering a class like that.

I did mine all online, the only time I ever left the house was to take the actual test. I used Allied Real Estate Schools. I don't know if they are the best, or cheapest, just who I used.

I would also suggest you start considering whom you will work for after getting licensed. I spent my first 6 months at a national company to use their training, then left to go to a locally owned company with better splits, better BIC, better everything.

Training and education is the key between just being an agent and becoming a success.

I agree with Lee, I definately benefited from the classroom environment. I also now work for a national company, No 1 here on the Gulf Coast and I think what sets us apart as agents is the constant free training our Broker/Owner provides us. I have especially found the 'practical training' hugely beneficial in ensuring my success.

As Mark says "Training and education is the key between just being an agent and becoming a success." I wholeheartedly agree
