I have been asked to find people who do not do hard money, but would like to start. Does anyone know where I could find these people?

Our company is a hard money lender, Northwestern Financial but only on non-owner in the Detroit tri-county area.

It's sounds like you're looking for private money investors or folks willing to invest in a hard money lending company. If thats the case you need to find people with a lot of cash that want to take a passive route towards investing in real estate.

Try networking at local real estate investment clubs, social networking sites, google different key phrases or even local property auctions. You need to get in front of people. Direct mail campaigns may work but it probably depends on who your sending the marketing material to.

You might want to first read up on what usury laws are and see what types of disclosure you need to make sure you stay on the right side of the law.

I forgot to mention, make sure you pay attention to SEC rules and regs.

Also, just curious, who is asking you to go out and find hard money investors?
