1. You would have a ton of questions with no reasonable source to get the correct answers.
2. You would not have a viable source to meet thousands of people from the comfort of your own home or office.
3. You would attempt a RE investment by rolling the dice.
4. You would not have a full understanding of your specific strategy or how to apply it in the real world.
5. You would be stuck in your 9 to 5.
6. You would remain an employee of Uncle Sam.
7. You would have much less contacts to market to, sell to, or buy from.
8. Your sources for answers to RE would only provide one point of view from one party, rather than multiple views from multiple parties all in one place.
9. You would be in the 98% fail catagory, including those that never take action due to fear.
10. You would not be reading this post.

BP Nation has been a valuyable asset to me and I know to many others. It has provided many things and many abilities for all of us who frequent the site and utilize the resources.
I can honestly say that BP has improved my RE investing education, contacts, bottom line, and more. It has also given me the ability to make new friends and complete joint ventures with other BP members.
BP has my vote, how about you! :lol:

If it wasnt for BP I wouldnt be doing real estate... seriously though. It all started when I found the site on accident. Thought it was cool asked some questions.

Found a mentor on here who has helped me every step of the way. Then left for some odd reason. Then came back and was lucky enough to be welcomed still and Im here to stay! But honestly without this I wouldnt be in real estate. I dont like doing things Im not comfortable with and this site has taught me everything about real estate and until recently "met" every person I know in real estate.

Im still a newbie but I am taking steps and am starting to get real good experience. So... THANKS JOSH!

James, great list, I concur. Although it is possible to succeed without BP, and is possible to accomplish some goals without it, BP certainly expidites teh process and improves your chances dramatically! Thanks for your post! :)

Although I may disagree at times with some of the opinions and advice being given, the overriding compelling factor is the fact that so many here on BP are willing to provide help and give of their time freely to each other. That, unlike so many other sites, shows the true character of so many here on BP. I wish all of you much success. Now all we have to do is Get all the Dip Sticks out of Washington in 2010 and we're good to go!!!
