Due Diligence Checklist

Can anyone share a due diligence checklist with regards to all the things to look into during the contingency period of purchasing an apartment complex? I'm about to make an offer on my first apartment building in Houston, TX, and I want to make sure I've covered my basis. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
