We are about to rehab a house, 2 story 3/2. Our question is, do you perfer carpet upstairs in the bedroom or hardwood? My husband and I have different opinions, the rusults may make our decision.

So far you all agree with me  THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to show my husband!!
Is this a rental, flip, or your personal residence?
Personally, I like hardwood and carpets. Not as in wall to wall carpeting but as in individual rugs. My goal is to have the whole house covered in rugs two layers deep.
Carpet is good for the bedroom especially when you have more company than beds & couches or when you can't make it to the bed/couch.
imo hardwood looks nicer but is much tougher for little kids.... can you do hardwood in the master and carpet in the other bedrooms?
Carpet but if the floors are in great shape, save the money because I doubt nice hardwood floors would deter a sale.
Thanks, the floors are in horrible shape, they definately need to be replace. Sounds like carpet is the winner by far!
Paint the hardwood floors brown.
(P.S. Please don't take me seriously...lol)
Carpeting is quieter. That is why I am saying this. With hardwoods you can hear it downstairs. If you are selling this property and there is an open house, the people downstairs will comment how " LOUD" the place is when someone is upstairs walking!
Carpet is the way to go!
Carpet, carpet, carpet. People want carpet in their bedrooms, so give them what they want and your house will always sell/rent quicker.
