New tenant management tool- your thoughts?

Hi all,
            
            I'm new to the site and love what I see. This looks like a great group with a wealth of knowledge. 
            
            I currently working for a fledgling company that specializes in Property and Tenant magement, via online software, for small to mid sized landlords. It was started by several grads from MIT and is quite and amazing untility. We are working hard to spread the word, offer free trials, and see what people think about the system in a grass roots effort. 
            
            If anyone has any tips, or suggestions I would greatly appreaciate it.

Brendan and Mike, hi I'm Jeff. i...eh...ALSO run a property management software company in...well...Boston. Go figure.

Had lunch a few weeks ago with Michael Montiero over at Buildium as well. It seems like it would be good press, good education, and good times if we did a get-together. Could video / audio the highlights and provide to BP?

(did I just invite myself to somebody else's dinner?)

Mike, that's a wonderful idea, and since we are only a short drive away, let's plan for a dinner after the holidays.  I'm not joking!

Now as for the competitive aspects, quite clearly we must be very careful to not reveal any secrets.  But I will tell you my secrets to making a success in business in general.

1) Spend as little as possible on things that are not absolutely vital.
2) Don't hire anyone on a permanent basis until you are making money.
3) Don't release any software until you are absolutely sure it works.  A 50% solution that works 100% of the time is better than a 100% solution that works 90% of the time.
