I've been looking around the forums for the last couple of days. Finally finished looking through most of the post in the "starting out" section. I've learned a lot so far and hope to continue to learn more.

I'm hoping to attend a couple of the local REIA meetings soon, so if anyone from around Seattle or Bellevue attends these please drop me a note about how they are.

A little history about me: I have one more quarter left of college then I'll be out in the "real world." I'm looking into real estate as a possible career. Right now I'm looking for internships at a couple of local real estate firms or a jr. loan officer position. Anything that will help me learn more about real estate in a real life setting.

As far as investing I would like to fix and hold SFHs and MFHs, then one day commercial. I am new to the area but so far I haven't seen much cash-flowing deals. I'm also looking for fix and flip properties, I want something that I can put my effort into and make better, make the community better and give someone a place to live.

Thanks for reading this...I know it got a little long winded. Thank you for all the great information that you have all provided on the site. Hood luck on your endeavors.
