Hello from Brooklyn, NY!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself to BP because I plan on sticking around for a while. :D

My name is Tommy Giannopoulos and I have a passion for real estate. My family has owned and operated some mixed-use properties in Brooklyn and I've most recently begun to manage the properties with my partner; my brother George.

I'm a graduate of St. John's University with a major in marketing, and since then I have become a licensed real estate salesperson, but my passion is to invest and ultimately, become successful at it.

My brother and I have enrolled in the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate and have learned a great deal about the nuances of investing in real estate over the last year there. I try to read as much about real estate as I can and I always appreciate a good book. I love watching the HGTV shows about real estate and am always looking to learn something new.

I am a forum fanatic and have joined forums based on my passions because I simply love to talk about them with other people that share the same passion (basketball, health, cars). I have done enough reading on BP to know that this forum is exactly what I am looking for with real estate.
