I'm trying to focus on the rehab and resell portion of the business to start off.
Ok, great. Where are you planning on focusing your energies? What part of the city?
Have you done any rehabs before?

Welcome Jason, this is a great site - so much to learn. I have been rehabbing for a couple of years here in St. Louis. Look forward to meeting you. There are a couple of good REI clubs if you are looking to connect to others in the industry.
Welcome Jason
You have made to a great site. I've learned a great deal here and I'm sure you will too! Make sure to use the search feature. Many of my questions have been asked, all I had to do was look it up. It made things a lot easier for me.
Best of Luck to You!
Hey Jason like I have told so many other people you should look into wholesaling first...
not to knock what you are doing but when you are first starting out fix and flip can be a little overwhelming
Wholesaling will teach you TRUE values of properties plus you will learn to assess repairs and you will also make some quick cash...all good things !!
Well I wish you luck my friend!
Hey Jason, welcome to BP and good suggestion by Alex. Wholesaling will avoid that possible situation where you get hung out if the fix-n-flip is not selling.
Best wishes getting underway,
Hey guys,
I really appreciate all of the advice and input. That being said, I am currently learning as much as I can about wholesaling. I'm taking your advice and acting on it. How much money can I expect to make on each deal. I guess there are some that are better than others. How many can I do in a year's time? I would like to do as many as possible. How much risk is involved and is there anything in particular I need to look out for? Again, thanks alot guys. Jason
