Hey my employer doesnt offer any retirement plan but i want to start one. What do you suggest? 401k, IRA or what?

If you really wanted to put money away, I would lean towards a Self Directed IRA.

I am just not sure you want to put the money there with all the regulations. People mainly do it because the employer puts in matching funds.

I would sit down with someone to really work the numbers and see if just using any money you would put there to invest instead might be more beneficial.
