I do business in Trinidad and Tobago and am constantly traveling back and forth. The past couple of trips over the last month I have been completely floored by what I have been reading in their papers.

It is very hard to tell from the US, but there is a complete Obama-craze sweeping the rest of the world. In a major TT newspaper with 30 pages, there were literally 15 pictures of Obama in some way or another. One column called on elementary children to submit a poem about the soon to be president. The title was "Celebrate with the Rest of the World - Enter the Obama Poetry Contest". I also saw probably 20 Obama stickers.

I think it's an interesting look into human nature. The 'ideas' that have been created by this guy have completely swept the world in the matter of months. I guess it's a good thing, but honestly, it really kind of scares me.
