Jon Steward is some sort of comedian so maybe you should
consider the source. The government has got this whole bailout thing so screwed up I'm afraid it will get a lot worse before it gets straightened out.

Gotta love it! very funny!
Especially the millionaire part!! LMAO!
Speaking of the bailout - as I recall, Stewarts lips have been chapped on Obama's buttocks since he announced he was running. If you didn't want a bailout, there was another way to go.
Definitely. In hollywood there is no question that most ent people are pro obama. However as usual I will go with who cares: until the fed is dismantled there is no free market no matter who holds the title of president
I would have one million dollars today providing I had one hundred million dollars lol that was spot on :mrgeen:
I'm exploring an alternate route - and it hearkens past Franky Roosevelt back to Teddy Roosevelt. I don't know my full opinion on this yet as I don't have the research but it occurred to me that perhaps the problem with the private corporation known as the Federal Reserve Bank is that there's only 1. They have a complete monopoly position..... I wonder if some sort of an anti-trust civil suit for every person who's been negatively affected by the mismanagement of the Federal Reserve in the past 5-7 years may be possible. I wonder how many would sign onto that suit.

That is interesting. I think you have my sig, too!
Tim,
Have you read "Creature from Jekyll Island"? It's the story of how the Fed was created pretty much in secrecy.
Sometimes Amazon has it available, if not it's available at RealityZone.com
Add me to your sihn list Tim!
Put me down for 5 million. That is what I am owed by the Fed.

The Federal Reserve is exempt from anti-trust laws.
Nice thought, but it is a non-starter.
Tim,
When you print the money it's probably not a tuffy!
Speaking of ant-trust. It is my hope that we treat the issue more seriously going forward. I never again want to hear, "that company is to big to fail". Taxpayers should not have to come rushing out with a checkbook to save a company.
Amen. I've sure never head of anyone "too small to succeed".
