Does anyone have a Palm Pre yet? If so, any reviews? I'm very seriously considering getting one.
Thanks,
Mike

I don't, but had the chance to play with my friend's, and it was pretty fantastic. That said:
1 - I expect Apple to add the ability to have multiple applications running at once like the Pre has soon - not insider knowledge, but a guess.
2 - I found the keys impossible to type with.
Just sharing my $0.02

Mike, I don't have any experience with the Pre but I wanted to let you know that I no longer work for AT&T.
You might want to change your sig, Josh.

Josh (Dorkin),
How would you say the Pre compares with the I-Phone? Better, same, not as good? Why?
I would be more worried about the coverage. Sprint in my area is horrible!
Chris
The only reason I'd pick a PRE over the iPhone would be that you can run multiple apps., and you're on Sprint. Those are the 2 selling points for me.
I'll stick with my iPhone -- can't be happier. (although rumor has it the new ones overheat if left in warm temps).

I have the Palm Pre. Bought it the day it came out as I was eligible for an upgrade and it was pretty cheap.
While there were some hardware issues, the software is the best I've seen.
The cards for multitasking, the browser, the way everything comes together (synergy), keypad you'll get used to, free navigation etc. are all great to me.
All we need are some apps now.
Oiluj,
Are you still having hardware problems? If so, what are they?
Mike
Just to weigh in on the overheating issue, I just purchased one about a week ago and have been using it constantly. 0 overheating problems. It doesn't even feel as hot as the original iphone 2G and I had that one for almost 2 years.
I wouldn't let the overheating issue factor into your decision.
Thankfully, my new one doesn't have any of those issues. Not yet at least.
i can't believe the iphone is only on AT&T - YUCK! I'm waiting for a Verizon phone that will run android, coming out this year
