Wifey and I have arrived in Fl for our relocation. Texas and Florida are HUGE states to drive across!! I'll be open for business here in a few days!! For those that have been waiting, I'll reply on your prospective deals as soon as possible. Now we just need a house!! Rich.

Rich, you've got to change your location on the BP profile now from Sioux Falls to Fort Myers now.

I'm not sure exactly where that is in FL but I do know if you plan on buying properties there I'd bet that the local economy will be positively impacted b/c of your move there.

I love Florida too! Been here nearly my whole life. As far as dying here goes if the insurance rates don't kill you, the property taxes will. But other than that I can't think of too many draw backs of being here if you don't mind running from hurricanes lol! And I guess I must not because I can't think of any place I'd rather be :cool:

Welcome to Florida! I've been in Central FL for my entire life. Except for a few years attending Florida Gulf Coast University there in Ft. Myers. I loved it down there, went to the beach 4 days a week. The area around the school has exploded with growth over the past 5 years. Dan Sater in Bonita Springs designed "The 2008 New American Home" that our company built for last years International Builders Show in Orlando.

welcome to the sunshine state! You passed the first hurdle by moving here during the hurricane season and not having a tropical storm mess up your move. That's a good sign.
