I don't know who she is, but if shes been in jail for charges involving real estate, then I wouldn't even consider listening to anything she had to say.

she has a website called wealthyheiress : she reports to be having a bootcamp in LA that rivals David Lindahls course and bootcamp....

but on other re boards she is touted as having been in Jail for Mail fraud and such thus making her discredited as an educator in my eyes much like WADE COOK! but it is just my opinion....

Just seeing if anyone here had any experience with her

I've known Monica Main personally for last 9 years and what I think is interesting is that during the times people stated she was in " jail" I was attending her seminars and getting consulting from her. I've gone to these bogus links that " prove" she was in prison and it shows someone else's name, not even close to hers. I happen to know Monica's maiden name and it's not the one posted on the federal prison website.

It's ashame that competitors have had to make up such bogus stories about her when they're all false. Like I said, I've known her for 9 years. She hasn't done a day in jail and there's no lawsuit or records of fraud anywhere.

The people who claim she is a scam are those selling competing real estate courses so it's financially beneficial for them to make up stories about her just to sell their own courses. They also do the same things to other real estate gurus like Carleton Sheets, etc.

Let me tell you about MY experience with her courses since I bought them all and attended most of her seminars. I first met her 9 years ago but didn't start using her stuff until 7 years ago. When I started investing in real estate using her techniques, I did a lot of flipping homes and made about $430,000 in less than 3 years doing it part time. I didn't use a dime of my own money or my own credit.

When the market changed I started using her apartment building materials. I have purchased 3 buildings totalling 54 units (between all 3) and right now we're about to close escrow on another building which is 16 units. I didn't use any of my own money or credit either. Right now I'm getting a positive cash flow of about $6,700 a month net.

I can tell you from experience that I have purchased every real estate course out there and none of them have worked at all for me. If you want to know who the true scam artists are then look at Ron Legrand, Russ Whitney, Carleton Sheets, Robert Allen, and all the other " big guys" . I have all of their courses and sunk tens of thousands of dollars into their courses and seminars. I ended up with nothing.

I bought Monica Main's courses for a fraction of their costs and have learned 1000 times more than I ever learned from them.

I noticed that the people who are so hard on Monica Main are those who have not tried her courses or like to read false garbage on the internet. If you really want to become successful in real estate then I would use her strategies. Then again, I actually use the courses I purchase and don't throw then on the bookcase and hope they'll make me money while collecting dust like most people do.

Just don't listen to the false garbage people are writing on the internet. I can tell you, for as long as I've known Monica, that it's all false and have been created by people who are looking to discredit her in a sore-loser attempt to sell their own worthless real estate junk.

I'm looking for some information here since I found an affiliate site that claims to limit the number of folks allowed access to her brokers. I find it hard to believe she will allow unlimited affiliate sign-ups to access her brokers since one of the selling points in the sales letter is the limited number of people who have access to them. I think the information could be valuable but I don't see signing up for something where I don't have direct access to the guru.

I communicated with Monica Main via email back about 2002-03 from her direct marketing to me. Her name then was Monica Schiera and I think that was her maiden name (I'm guessing here). At the time she was an infopreneur doing direct mail selling of infoproducts on things like credit repair, direct mail and selling info products (on things like credit repair and direct mail!) ha. She was then also pitching a multi-level marketing company called Legacy for Life and trying to link the building of her downline with the direct mail solicitation methods she knew. I bought and actually liked her direct mail and infopreneuring courses and didn't feel ripped off by them. But her infopreneuring tactics did border on the fraudulent, like the borrowing of other's content and reworking it mentioned here earlier. Earlier she apparently got into trouble for an advance fee loan scam, although I admit I do not have the first-person source info on this I would prefer, such as the links below.

She decided she'd take her husband's last name and became Monica Main in public and they started pitching courses on stocks and futures trading. Big mistake. I knew a lot about the whole scene in financial investment education in those days and spent about three years pursuing it actively in conferences, bootcamps, local investment clubs, etc. I never bought their course because I knew they were on ridiculously thin ice given their experience and did not know that business. There were hundreds of other traders with better/more battle-tested info that you could purchase reasonably. They were sued by the CFTC in LA in 2005. Here's the link to the case: http://www.cftc.gov/stellent/groups/public/@lrenforcementactions/documents/legalpleading/enfmaincomplaint.pdf The outcome of this suit was bad news. It was $1.5M in civil penalties and $12.5 in disgorgement in 2007. Here's the link to the outcome of the CFTC's suit: http://www.cftc.gov/newsroom/enforcementpressreleases/2007/pr5331-07.html. Search under Gemancer, Inc. and Trade Pros, Inc. for other bad-acting references. On www.ripoffreport.com there is a laughable reference posted by a supposed "office manager" of Monica's who has worked for Monica for "11 years" and "she (Monica) knows nothing about Gemancer, Inc.". Well, I can tell you the feds know plenty about Gemancer.

Monica is now pitching real estate investment courses and bootcamps. More info on Gemancer, Inc's. troubles at http://www.thefreelibrary.com/COUPLE+ORDERED+TO+PAY+FOR+FRAUD.(News)-a0163376562

The www.apartmentbuildingcashflow.com and www.wealthyheiress.com sites are now focusing on apartment investments and selling info products on same. She claims she has sources that will pay for downpayments and funding - such as hard money and grants. The course is $97. You buy it and you get access to the techniques and her funding sources. Two month money back guarantee if what she is selling is of poor quality. She is a driven marketing woman and she pushes the envelope like any good snake oil salesman. If you are susceptible to that you better stay home in bed, because sadly it is rampant in our society. That said, I have never been ripped off by her. Strangely, even after all of this I'd still do business with her (for small dollar items only) as the products I have purchased weren't bad and she really was a very good infopreneur. However, I would always prefer to deal with fully honorable business people to watch my back.

But she and her husband really blew it getting into federally regulated stuff like futures and making claims in direct mail that became federal securities/wire fraud violations. Monica better sell a lot of these real estate packages to make the $14M back! Perversely, I'm kind of rooting for her and hope she's found her calling and can make some restitution. But since these companies are B/K there is probably no hope. I hope this ambiguous reply helps! All the best.

I have been wondering about her program. I bought it and read through it and it makes since. The problem I am having is finding a lender to do the deal how she suggests setting it up. I am working with a few of them she has in her program list and have submitted deals to her partner program, but it's all in limbo right now with nothing moving forward. Her partners have not yet made any offers on the properties I have sent and on the deals I found and sent to her brokers some have told me they can't do what she said they could and others take weeks to get back with me. Of course I realize if they actually can do these then I can understand why they are slow. They haven't asked me for any money though so I don't see what they can gain by looking at my deals and telling me what to change on them unless they plan on them actually closing. I found a review of some of her company's info and her criminal history, but it looks like most of that was from not knowing about the laws with securities and it looks like her methods were not working for that. The review site I found on [LINKS REMOVED]

If anyone who has actually bought a property with one of her brokers or any other broker who allows the seller to carry 20% on the carry back reads this please post your contact information. I and Im sure alot of us would like to talk to you to see if this is for real. You can send me a PM too if you dont want tons of people emailing or calling you from posting publicly.

If someone has really in jail and/or fined for fraud/securities violations, etc, is ANYONE really STUPID enough to do business with them? I guess it's true - there's a sucker born EVERY SECOND! I'm just continually amazed at how gullible the American public is!

I read Monica Main's criminal history AFTER I ordered her course on submitting apartment deals to her. My experience mirrored her past.

Just TRY to submit an apartment deal for her to partner on, and the fun begins. Somehow, whatever you submit will NEVER be quite right.

Does she tell you what's wrong with the submission? Not on your life. You would think she would so you both can make money. She simply deletes your submission because "it is not adequate." Give me a break.

I found that the only time she responds via email is when I wanted to pay MORE $ (surprise) for special coaching.

Avoid her SH*t like the plague!

The tipoff that Monica Main continues to be a fraud concerning her multifamily deals is this:

When you send in a submission and it is rejected for some reason, you would think that she would let you know what additional information is needed. Instead, your submission is discarded WITHOUT telling you what else is needed. And you receive no feedback after waiting weeks to hear. Her glorified statements about "partnering with her on apartment deals" is a SHAM.

If your making money were her goal, she would be only too glad to offer feedback, because she benefits financially, too. What she IS benefiting from is selling her courses and, of course, additional coaching.

Just my 2 cents.

Steer clear of her..I do know first hand...She shows the true signs of a sociopath...There are alot of people out there now with courses and alot more that want quick money yesterday...and she knows this..You cannot teach a dog new tricks..but they can come up with many more...Has her main loan person ever gotton anyone a loan???..NO...Now he takes 500.00 just to look at your history...Plus he has become her paid lover..Probably to replace her ex ..or for her "plans" in the future..Check out her Youtube video of her interrigating her daughter via Globalsuccess13..Look for the baby in the car seat..It was just posted about 2 months ago..Probaly to get back at the ex's family..but still very disturbing..It shows the OCD in her..Look at her videos on her website under her seminars ..She is derogatory and Very impatient...Amazing..My personal experiences ...a full page F-bomb..The posts from former emplyees on ripoff report describing her multi personality issues have dissappeared..???..But my own personal experiences..and I do have all the e-mails printed..Not to mention the havic her body showing up in my homestate had on my children..Well caotic...

Lisa Lovelace,
I wish you would state how you are affiliated or know of Monica Main. It seems as though you are making this personal. Do you know of Ms. Main personally? Business? Have you purchased her course?

Billy Peeler,
I have known Monica Main and her training for the last year and find her to be very knowledgeable. She always seems to find the time to answer her students, even though she has a very busy schedule. She is the only trainer / teacher/ guru that actually answers her email for those who have taken her training. If you are submitting deals to her, then you are in a mentorship group and know what she is looking for in a deal submission. She is very direct and continually updates any criteria for private submission of deals. If you are not in a mentorship group, then she is not going to look at a deal that you submit. Her mentorship groups are very inexpensive. I am not suggesting that you join one, only that she gives her students priority over someone who has bought her basic course. In fact, I do not believe she will even consider a deal submission unless she has specified in her group, mentorship or otherwise. From my experience with her, she has provided 30 times more value when comparing training vs costs vs other gurus. I have gotten more from Monica Main in a 3 minute youtube presentation than entire training courses from the other so called trainers.

This thread is a case study in why there is an influence system on this board. Looks like it is working.

Josh - when updating the algorithm be certain to ensure all of the above would have been properly scored.

Anyone else notice that THIS NEW thread has an abundence of noobs bantering back & forth about Ms. Mains' course & their only posts (to this point) are in this thread? Anyon else find this a bit odd?
