Does anyone have experience with using her foreclosure lists? How about the 3 day lab or the coaching they offer?

I really like her approach of ethical investing. She has over 1200 testimonials from satisfied investors on her site but I'd like to hear from others in this community. I'd love for her claims to be true.

I have attended Alexis McGee's seminars and taken the boot camp. I don't recommend it. Save your money, she was very accessible before the the bootcamp and became quite brusque afterwards when I called to ask questions about a deal. I also tried unsuccessfully to use their lender, but they were too conservative and I had to go elsewhere to make the deal work. She and her husband used to work with Bruce Norris, but haven't for years now. They learned from Bruce Norris. His courses are very good, I have not taken the bootcamp though.

I attended Alexis' 3-day foreclosure workshop as well and I agree. The tone changes after the class while trying to push their coaching program. Bruce's and Alexis' approach to foreclosure are more distinct than similar in achieving the desired results.

I have never taken Alexis' bootcamp however did purchase her $600 "homestudy" program. I learned a few things from it, however I really could not get over her tone throughout. She seems extremely judgmental against every other "guru" and all other systems that are not her own.

On the other hand - I have nothing but huge respect for Mr. Bruce Norris. For me, his approach in teaching and his values are A#1. I did his 3-Day REO Bootcamp in Jan of this year and it was the best $5000 I spent in years. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how the REO investing strategy!

I saw Bruce Norris speak tonight. I can't say enough about how impressed I am by his analysis, charts and predictions. I will probably hit his seminar on 10/11 in Van Nuys. I love that he is in the trenches doing deals still to this day. It sounds like he's going to do a lot more over the next 26 months.

It's interesting that over the last few months my own research has brought my attention to Bruce Norris and The Norris Group. I have not bought any of their education (yet) but have had conversations with Aaron, Diana and Craig (Loan Officer, hard money lending). They are all very professional and obviously immersed in Real Estate investing in the current So Cal market.

Thanks everyone for your insight and thank you Rosie for bringing Bruce to the forefront of Orange County investors at your club meeting a few months back. It was very real, educational and refreshing!

I have to put in my 2 cents on Foreclosures.com products...

I have bought and read both of Alexis McGee's books, as well as signed up for the foreclosures.com website for the pre-foreclosure lists... While the 2 books were decent reads (there are better ones out there), I would not recommend the website service. Only after signing up for it did I realize that they did not even offer lists in my geographic area of interest. And the other area I checked out had old and inaccurate data on about half of the properties.

Just my opinion!

McGee's educational materials are waaaay overpriced! Her "white knight" persona is a joke and her lists are only moderately complete.

There's a new guy in town offering a list and I like it.

1. Who is Golden Harper and Maria Devereaux? I have never heard of either of these people and neither of them have never taken my Lab. Who do they work for???
2. I give my time to my clients via free email support and have never been available by phone. Again, if they came to my Lab they would know this.
3. I have helped clients for years after the Lab, whether they worked with a Coach or not, and have countless clients who can attest to that fact.
4. We don't have 'a lender' as we refer to our past graduates who have money. Again, if they came to my Lab they would know this.
5. We never worked for Bruce Norris. In fact, Bruce worked for us. Foreclosures.com had promoted his material and bootcamp for a short time, but based on our clients requests we stopped using Bruce and took over the training ourselves.
6. Our testimonials are over 1500 and growing since then... take the time to read through them and you will see a totally different perspective.
7. We post REAL NAMES of real people on our website that you can authenticate their findings (feel free to google their names).
8. Without a full, real name, any posting is extremely suspicious as to its source... and motivation.

Everyone,

Don't be surprised by Alexis' replies. She has done this before on other forums. She's pretty good at acting shocked as well as talk about how good her lab is as well as claiming to use her students' real names.

It is best to just ignore her.

Real Estate Investor · Apopka, Florida

When I first started looking at foreclosures, I was a member of the database for a few months. I don't recommend it as the data was not current. Often a Lis Pendis was reported as newly issued, yet when I researched the property I found it had actually been sold back to the bank 3 month previously and the bank wasn't ready to list it yet.

I can't remember actually finding any current data from the lists. The propaganda's not bad though.

Jeff F and All...
I would love to respond to any comments from foreclosures.com Lab graduates who post their real names... So I know who I am speaking with, and at least have some context to their comments.

These negative posts about my training are unverifable and untrue. As I said before, how can you believe anything from folks who won't use their real names?

Alexis, everyone on this board uses their real names. What's your point?

Shoe's on the other foot now isn't it. You bashed a lot of gurus on your site some that even don't belong on there and now you are getting a taste of your own medicine.

No not everyone uses their full name or real name. Jeff F, what is your last name? If Golden Harper and Maria Devereaux took my Lab they used another name. Or they never took it at all, as there is no one by those names in our clients database, which goes back to 1995.

So, Why are they hiding their identity?

Please send me the link of where I have bashed someone on my website. You will not find it. Please take the time to read our Gurus to Avoid and you will see they are 100% opt in comments from their customers only. There is not a single opinion listed from me or anyone, only those guru customers can post and it must be their own personal experiences. No "hearsay" allowed.

And we post the clients full real name so the Guru can respond to them directly to work it out. We also remove posts when folks find remedy with their Guru. Our Gurus to Avoid forum is legit and verifiable and fair... unlike what I have read here.
