Jumping on the guru express?

I find it almost comical now that the gurus all work as one large unit. The one thing they are good at is their marketing. One of them comes out with the latest "secrets", then they all market the heck out of it, and get a commission for their efforts.

So for those real deal investors out there that just so happen to teach what they know.. hats off to you guys. Many of you are here on BP, and your much apprectiated!

That's the typical mindset now. They have a 5 step action plan they do which is:
                    
                    1.Create an expensive course complete with 20 CD's,10 DVD's and 3 manuals.
                    
                    2.Have your inner circle of friends who are also gurus promote your up coming course and hype it up. They'll even offer free videos or blueprints to entice would be buyers.
                    
                    3.Have your inner circle now promote your course which just come out and once again hype it up.
                    
                    4.Watch as people fork over money which could be used for other purposes
                    
                    5.Collect money and get rich 
                    
                    Welcome to the guru game. Now don't get me wrong there are some courses out there that are good and a course is only as good as you follow it through but on the same token you have these guys who just sell courses because they are either unsuccessful or they just want to jump on the guru bandwagon becaue their investor friends are making $250,000 a year selling these expensive materials.

Their only problem is that they all copy each other, so it makes them easier to spot.  They were using a Star Wars theme recently to sell someone's "Blue Print", so all of the e-mails that had a Star Wars reference in their subject line were immediatley deleted.  It's almost comical how lazy they are once a promotion is rolled out with their identical e-mail promotions.  I mean, how many e-mails about Luke Skyflipper, or whatever it was, can you read before you start pounding the delete button to make them go away?
