Where is a good source for creating a land trust? I was going to setup a land trust in order to do double closing to retail buyers. (This was suggested by my transactional lender.)

Google Mark Warda and land Trust. He did a book a few years ago. I have it somewhere or else I would tell you the title. If you want a good book and tape course and want to shell out a few bucks then I would recommend Lou Brown's Trust Course. I have it. Been using it for years. Just make sure the documents meet your state requirements. Such as does your state have Trust Statues....etc

Jonathan,
Just want to wish you a Happy New Year! Glad to see you are still surviving and thriving!!!
So many been-there-and-done-that investors are no longer around.
Got to say, when I saw your name pop up, it warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face!
As to KYjj's question: The best land trust manual out there is Dyches Boddiford's. When it comes to entities - corps, LLCs and trusts, his material is good stuff. You'll find most experienced investors use his stuff.
His website is www.assets101.com.
Hey Bill, It is good to hear from you. I totally forgot about that Dychess had a Land Trust course. Of course he does. Can't go wrong there.

Jonathan,
Any chance I'll see you at Dyches' Advanced Strategies seminar in January?
Hey Bill,
Not this year. With the kid getting older it is harder to get out these days. But maybe next year.

Was the title "Land Trusts for Privacy and Profit" (Galt Press 2004)? It was referenced in Mark Kohler's book "Lawyers are Liars" (2007, Life's Plan Publishing, LLC).
Jonathan,
You will be missed.
These days, about the only seminars I go to are Jack Miller's (God rest his soul), Pete Fortunato's and Dyches'. You can throw in John Schaub, David Tilney and Lonnie Scruggs, but I never repeatedly went back to their seminars the way I've done with Jack, Pete and Dyches.
When Jack passed, he left a mighty hole!!!!
Are there any other great teachers out there who are like a Jack or Pete?
I attend the local REIA meeting, but that's for networking.
Kim and I closed down our REIA in 2007. It had grown to 2,400 folks and had gotten too big to handle.
Bill,
I missed the last couple Miller seminars. I did go to Tilney's Management Class here in FL two months ago. I am pretty much staying home these days. Kid getting older, got two dogs. Kind of hard to leave the compound.
