I started investing in Birmingham last year. Bought 5 houses in need of rehab for the purpose of holding and renting to Section 8 tenants.

I'm located in NY. I've had some issues with the main contractor that was supposed to do the rehab work within about 3 months. As of right now, only one house has a tenant. The other four are in the various stages of rehab (2 almost ready - should be by Monday/Tuesday, one up to punch list items, and last one will probably done next month).

What investing have you been doing in Birmingham?
