Case-Shiller just out this morning with prices up 3% in the 2nd quarter. Down from a year ago, but still the first quarter over quarter increase in 3 years.

Las Vegas and Detroit are still falling, but Dallas and Denver have each seen 4 straight months of increases.

I also heard about the increase.I think the Case-Shiller is a good indicator of the overall U.S. market, but each individual market acts differently. Its simply too general of a statistic to really mean something to everyone investing in real estate.

FYI, in most markets they are in the summer selling season. You should have a slight increase. While I think it is great news too. Try not to take the chum in one gulp. It could cause some heartburn if chased with your treasure.....
