I began investing in the 70s when I was in the Army. I was a bank examiner for FDIC and then owned a mortgage company in Springfield, Mo. My experience includes appraisal of residential and commercial properties, mortgage brokerage activities, developed the first loan servicing company for privately held mortgages and installment contracts in the midwest. I was also a Registered Creditor's Representative in Federal Bankruptcy Court. I served as a Commissioner of a large public housing authority and was the executive director of a non-profit housing entity developing affordable housing. I appraised mortgage and financing instruments for the State of Missouri and was active in purchasing mortgages individually and in bulk. I've purchased existing mortgages in default from insured lenders. I was also a real estate broker.
I have taught real estate courses, finance and accounting at the college level and assist new investors with instruction. I am not a guru, but someone with years of knowledge and technical as well as real world experience you can go to.
I'm very creative within the rules of the game and enjoy solving problems for deals when others have given up.

Too many years to touch on here and over a 1,000 deals!
Investing since 1974
Assisting others in real estate investing, teaching and mentoring.
Also, I tried filing out the new profile info for the site but you'll need to go by my basic profile here, as the other stuff doesn't really apply any longer.
I retired early and became bored so I have come back to what I love to do. I am not seeking any participation in any deals. I will assist others as appropriate with information and problem solving. This is a fun business!
