I am a licensed inspector as well as a licensed real estate broker. I own Prospect Inspectors, Inc., and Prospect Realty, Inc. Buyers and sellers both benefit from the inspection process. Buyers can make sure that they aren't buying something that has major issues that they didn't know about. Sellers can have it inspected prior to putting it on the market, which allows them to either fix the issues or simply disclose them. By having it out in the open, it makes the negotiating process much easier. With real estate, I can help investors look for and purchase properties to add to their portfolio. I also manage a number of houses for investors. The management of these properties is typically in the north and northeast of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. However, should you have a need for service in other areas, I may be able to refer you to a good manager. I sit on City Council and am very active in local and regional civic events. One of which recently includes the Collin County Bond Election Committee, which helps keep me abreast of new projects in the area not only with transportation, but facilities and other aspects which affect the real estate world. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me anytime.

Experience

I started out by purchasing a historical commercial building and renovating that. I went on to rehab and flipping of single family homes. Once I picked up both my real estate and my inspector's license, I changed directions. I was with a company that managed over 400 homes, and started inspecting others in my own business. While with that management company, I realized that I didn't want to be a part of the "slum lord" mentality that went along with many property managers. I decided that I would start my own company and set higher standards. I currently manage over a dozen properties within my own brokerage, and focus on communication with my clients and ensuring that the tenants have a clean and safe place to live.

Real Estate Goals

I picked up two properties that I still own, and I currently rent them out. My goal is to pick up a coupe of multifamily properties in the next year or two. My goal is to have the ability to retire within 10 years. I wouldn't retire mind you, but I want the "ability" to retire through achieving a good passive income stream through real estate acquisitions.
