God and family take priority. Real estate investing helps me live my priorities. It allows me to be as passive or as active as I want to be. It coexists well with another career. It can serve you and your heirs indefinitely.


I've owned and flipped a few properties over the past 20 years, but starting in 2008, I've gotten serious about REI.

In 2008 I bought an office building which I still have and plan to keep, as the area is seeing redevelopment.

In 2009 and 2010 I acquired a portfolio of single family homes. I bought most of them through the HUD auctions, but picked up some REO's, too. I flipped a few, but kept most for income.

In 2010 I bought a ranch that is my homestead. I've since added a pond, a small lake, a cabin, and a shop with apartment over it.

In 2011 I started building and selling spec homes in Austin.

In 2012 I flipped a ranch. I bought a 7000sf unfinished foreclosure, 50 plus acres surrounding it from different owners, finished the home, and sold the entire property.

In 2013 I am working on several new home builds. They are typically 1500-2100 SF and sell for $350K-$550K.

16 new home starts over the next 12 months.

Money partners for new spec construction.

Buyers of DFW area income properties. I have rentals available with tenants. They are priced from $50K-$80K and rent for $825-$1400 per month. These are late model double wide mobile homes on 1-2 acres each. They are located 30-60 minutes east of Dallas, TX in Hunt and Kaufman Counties. Want 10? I can discount. Want turn key?
