James, to answer your question, my mortgages range from 110k to 170k. I buy homes in the 150-220k range. Solid middle class upper middle class neighborhoods and tenants. Returns are higher with cheaper properties but I find very few hassles with this class of tenant. No issues with damage or move outs. Most of them even send me Christmas cards!
