I am a husband and father in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
My wife and I spent the last 4 years in West Virginia, where we served low-income families and began our marriage and family. We miss our friends and the mountains.
Nevertheless, we have returned to our home state. I aim to create an alliance among certain of my friends to learn and profit from real estate, initially through lease-option deals and eventually in commercial properties. My ultimate goal is financial independence.
Experience
I currently own one investment property, a 2-unit building with positive cash flow.
Real Estate Goals
I love my current job, working at a school for kids with autism. I say that to qualify this: My goal is to earn enough passive income to replace my family's current income. Not, necessarily, so that I can leave my job, but so that I don't NEED my job.
