Wholesaling on Long Island
Hi everyone, I'm 19 years old, new to bigger pockets and sort of new to wholesaling, well I know what it is and the basics of what to do but I haven't had my first deal yet. Before I start driving for dollars and spending time and money on advertising, I need to know for sure if I need a real estate attorney. I've talked to a title company and they strongly suggested that I use an attorney, so I then talked to one of the attorneys in my area and she said the same thing. And I can't even get anyone else's opinion because no one else will get back to me so now I'm really stuck. Are there any other wholesalers in my area who faced similar issues? And please any advice from attorneys will be great. Thank you!

Hi Jordan and Danielle,
I've just attended a REI meet up a couple of days ago about wholesaling and yes, it's strongly recommended to have an attorney who provide you contract in order to wholesale successful.
There was Jim at http://clarkslaws.com/ at the Q&A panel.
He's in LI and been working with investors and wholesalers for years. He may can help you if you need an attorney.
