Lisa Rollins

My degree is in Social Work and after many years of working, I became a stay at home mom to our two children. We renovated our first home to resell and made a wonderful profit. I got "the itch" of real estate at that time. It wasn't too long before my husband and I took leap to get a HELOC and buy our first flip. We learned ALOT on that home and made some money. We flipped 5 homes in 2+ years with an average of 36% profit combined. This is due to us completing most of the work ourselves. Now we are looking to the future and obtaining rentals. In the last 18 months we have purchased 5 rental properties. 2 are owned outright and 3 are mortgaged. They pull a very high return. We have set a goal with rental properties so that it can be our sole income within 5 years. At this point we are looking for a vacation rental, preferably in the Smoky Mountain area.
